Columns in a grid are typed for easy data input.
Text columns allow for text information. They provide editing shortcuts such as CTRL ENTER to insert a new row.
Date columns allow for date information entered as text. You can type simple words or phrases such as “today” or “last month”. The text is then converted to a date.
Tag columns allow for selection of one or more tags to add to the page.
Cells can be moved to any column
You can move a cell to any column regardless of the column type. The cell retains its type regardless of where it ends up.
- A text cell will not be converted to a date if moved to a date column.
- A date cell will not be converted to text if moved to a text column.
