An object view is a view into a file, showing objects that exist in the file. You can have several views open, each showing a different set of objects from a file. You can close any or all of the views at any time. Closing a view does not close the file. To close a file you have to explicitly call for closing of a file.
Closing a view
- Close a view by clicking on the x icon on the view’s tab; or
- Right click on the tab and select Close from the tab’s context menu.
Closing a file
On the main application window select File | Close or File | Close All
- To close a single file, select File | Close
- To close all open files, select File | Close All
Start the session with File | Close All
While you’re learning to use the application, it is recommended that you
- Always start your session with File | Close All
- Only have one file open at a time.
